Day 8 - Cork
Your adventure through Ireland continues! Take the Irishrail train with Intercity service to travel from Dublin Heuston station to Cork. But don't worry because you didn't had time to visit all of Dublin, you will come back at the end of journey! Your train will be leaving the gate at 09:00 am and arrives at 11:50 am.
Cork is the second largest city in the Republic of Ireland and the island of Ireland's third most populous city. Cork has been gaining cultural diversity for many years as a result of immigration, from Western Europe (particularly France and Spain) in the mid to late nineties, and more recently from Eastern European countries such as Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Hungary etc. and in small amount from various African and Asian nations.
After arriving Cork, get a transfer to the Maldron hotel to check-in. Maybe after relaxing from your trip, take a walk on St Patrick’s street. It is the main shopping street and the heart of the city which was remodeled in the mid 2000s. It is known for the architecture of the buildings along its pedestrian-friendly route and is the main shopping thoroughfare. The reason for its curved shape is that it originally was a channel of the River Lee that was built over on arches.
